Stella McCartney Wooden Wedge Pumps

Heels do make a statement in the fashion industry.

Sometimes, rather than getting the upper of the shoe noticed, it is the heel that gets most attention.

Such is the case of this Stella McCartney Wooden Wedge Pumps.

The upper part is of plain taupe patent faux leather with a crescent pointed toe.

Although the color is nude, its heel is actually the part of the pump that is most striking.

Just imagine removing the heel.

Do you think the pumps will be of a worthy-topic to chat about?

Well then, what’s stunning about it is its towering wooden wedge heel of five inches, plus the sculpted silver-tone plate set at the back of it.

There could be a much deeper intention of putting such design on the heel, but all I could think of is that it’s there for an added accent.
